Welcome to a
Family Focused
Church

“This is none other than the house of God and this is the gate of heaven.” – Genesis 28:17

At Christ Lutheran Church, everyone is warmly invited to join in reverent, Christ-centered worship. Here, the Gospel is joyfully proclaimed and Holy Communion celebrated as the heart and soul of our spiritual life. We gather as one family, united by faith, to receive Christ's gifts earned for us on the cross and shared through His Word and Sacraments.

COOS BAY CHRIST LUTHERAN

Our Founding

Principles.

Christ Lutheran Church, part of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), embraces a theology grounded in the timeless truths of Scripture. We proclaim:

  • Grace Alone: Salvation as a pure gift from God.
  • Faith Alone: Trusting solely in Christ’s sacrifice.
  • Scripture Alone: God’s Word as our sole guide in faith and life.

We affirm the historic Christian teachings about the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and uphold the biblical teachings that sparked the Reformation under Martin Luther.

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod congregations voluntarily unite under a shared confession of faith, walking together in truth and unity to proclaim Jesus Christ clearly and faithfully to the world.

We are a LCMS Founded Church
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
-Hebrews 1:24, 25
